Здравствуйте!
I was derpin' about the intertubes today, checking out the BBC's news feed. Skipping over the dull parts, I found a gem. 'Augmented Reality'... Just the term makes me feel all giddy. After reading the article, I was pretty blown away....And actually really excited to see where developers would go with this. I am a big fan of games and the like, I do enjoy having fun. I hate sitting around on my rear end. This seems like a pretty excellent compromise. Allowing people to play a game in 'Augmented Reality'. This is actually through the application of a mobile phone's camera viewer and a GPS tracking system used by the cellular company. Holy Moley. Playing a game and having real life effects besides immense weight gain? Sounds pretty good to me, Tom. Anyhow. Something interesting, thought all you basement-dwellers would find this interesting, and post your own speculations on the technology, or the article, or don't. Trolls trolling trolls is fine, too.
EDIT: Seeing as Blogger doesn't like to let my links show up, I'll go ahead and post a flat link here. Enjoy your copy-n'-pasting.

.9.28.10 - CIS.120 Revival of an Old Data Crypt 2: Electric Boogaloo
Здравствуйте!
I have reactivated this Blogger from times long past. Roughly 16800 hours have passed since I have used this blog for anything related to schoolwork, and those posts, for the most part, have been removed. So marks my entry into a higher scholastic institute known as college, to be specific, this is for my CIS.120 class.
As requested, the following is a brief explanation of why I'm taking this class. Although the first few weeks are seeming to be a breeze for me, I am certain we will be moving on to greener pastures in due time. If there is anything I hope to get out of this class, I hope to learn the basics of some actual coding, not so much HTML or CSS, but onto the more obscure plains of C++, Java, and all kinds of other neat stuff that I've not had the chance to touch yet.
On an unrelated note, I suppose I'll be one of those internet hipsters and post some stuff I've done created for some time. You know, just because that's the cool thing to do. Expect ;;SARCASM 1 GREAT things. ;;SARCASM 0
